Mrs Campbell, 11 North Boundary Street, Belfast, has been officially notified that her son, Private Robert Gordon, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, has been wounded. Prior to enlisting in December 1915 he was in the employment of Messrs Cochrane Bros, Bo'ness

Private Robert J Gordon, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, previously reported wounded, is now officially reported killed on the 16th August. Deceased was a son of Mrs Campbell, 11 North Boundary Street, Belfast


Roberts Soldiers Effects were left to his mother, however a brother, James R Gordon described as living in New York, U.S.A, is also mentioned within the ledger.

A Dependant Pension Application Form shows a J Gordon and his mother Elizabeth Campbell as claimants.

His name in inscribed upon a Memorial Plaque within Townsend Street Presbyterian Church, Belfast, of which he was a member
