Roll of Honour, hanging portrait of Lance Corp. William McClurg, in uniform, 2nd Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles, killed in the battle of Loo's 25th September 1915. 1st time gas was officially used by the British on the battlefield. William was accidently gassed during this 1st use of gas at the front.
